The Interdepartmental Neuroscience Graduate Program at UO.
The Interdepartmental Neuroscience Graduate Program pulls students from many graduate departments across campus.
Most INGP students enter through the Biology Graduate Program.
Those students comprise a portion of all biology graduate students, who can alternative join the Institute of Molecular Biology, Institute of Ecology and Evolution, or Oregon Institute of Marine Biology.
Biology Graduate Students participate in laboratory rotations the first year, follow departmental for their degrees, and teach courses in the Biology Department.
Students from Psychology, Math, Human Physiology, Physics, and Computer and Information Science are also part of INGP. These students are admitted directly to a lab, follow departmental guidelines for their degrees, and teach courses in their respective departments.
The INGP leverages expertise across many disciplines to address fundamental questions in neuroscience.
