Graduate Studies at the University of Oregon

We are members of the interdepartmental neuroscience graduate program, leveraging expertise across disciplines.

The Interdepartmental Neuroscience Graduate Program pulls students from many graduate departments across campus.

As a member of the Biology Department, my students enter through the Biology Graduate Program.

Biology graduate students rotate through three different labs in the first year, and join labs in the Institute of Molecular Biology, Institute of Ecology and Evolution, Oregon Institute of Marine Biology, and Institute of Neuroscience, where are they affiliated with the INGP.

All degree requirements are set by the Biology Gradaute Program and students teach courses in the Biology Department, when applicable.

Students from Psychology, Math, Human Physiology, Physics, and Computer and Information Science are also part of INGP, taking courses and seminars with Biology Graduate Students, attending social events, and working in the same labs.

See the links below for more details on the program.
